National Ecosystem Report & Fintech Database
Help shape the future of digital financial services in Tanzania
Put Your FinTech Business on the Map
The Tanzania FinTech Mapping Study 2025 is a national research project led by iDEA (Inclusive Digital Experts Africa) and commissioned by the Tanzania Fintech Association (TAFINA). This initiative aims to create a detailed profile of Tanzania’s fintech ecosystem, covering startups, scale-ups, investors, regulators, and support organisations across the country.
Through this study, we will develop a comprehensive fintech database, identify regional trends, highlight gaps in regulation and funding, and support smarter decision-making for innovation, investment, and inclusive growth in digital financial services.
